FAQs
Important updates for 2020

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we will make every effort to ensure each bubble arrives to the event cleaned with disinfectant cleaning products that are appropriate for PVC vinyl plastics. Due to the nature of the plastics it may not always be appropriate to clean with pure bleach as this can damage the structure and safety of the bubble seams.

Safety is always our priority. It is recommended that one bubble is assigned to one player per game. If this is not possible or practicable based on the nature of your event, we recommend cleaning the bubbles before a new player gets in it.

What is the starting age to play?

The starting age varies; the minimum weight for our small bubbles is 45 lbs.

How many games can we play at each session?

The client and attendant will establish a game plan before the event.  Most games are between 10 and 15 minutes each; depending on how hot the temp is if we are outdoors. Sticking to our recommended # of participants for each type and lenth of event will guarantee your experience.

Can we have a Bubble Ball tournament?

Yes, just let us know when you book that you want to play tournament style. We will discuss the logistics with you prior to the event.

Do you have a facility where we can play indoors?

You are responsible for providing your own venue for private events.  Indoor or outdoor is fine, as long as the surface is safe for play. Play surface should be grass or turf preferably. We have also teamed up with several facilities in the area that have indoor fields for rent. Check out our indoor arena page  Local parks are great also!

Who is in charge of the games?

The attendant will organize games, inflate bubbles, prepare the field, and go over safety rules with everyone.  The attendant will also keep the score. Please note that events that have over 24 players require a second operator. This is to ensure safety, and also to streamline gameplay. If you are a school or Church, you can provide a volunteer to help chaperone.

Are there different size Bubble Balls?

We have youth size bubbles that fit ages from 7 to 12 and teen/ adult sizes that can accommodate ages 13-55.

How much do the bubbles weigh?

The adult bubbles weigh about 25 Lbs.  Child bubbles weigh a bit less.

Is it possible to get injured inside the Bubble Ball?

Yes, while there is a risk of injury in any sport, as long as you follow the safety rules, it is unlikely. The attendant on site will make sure everyone is wearing the necessary safety gear when in the bubble.  Horseplay should be avoided for safety reasons.

What should I wear?

Comfortable athletic clothing and tennis shoes (No CLEATS or flip flops/sandals please).
Players must remove ALL loose items and jewelry including phones, rings, earrings, eyeglasses, and necklaces before the game.

Should we have water on hand?

YES! Bubble Ball is fast-paced and depending on the weather/heat you may want a sports drink on hand. We recommend that water be provided by the client to keep everyone hydrated.

Am I required to sign a waiver to play?

Yes, all players must sign a participation waiver before playing. See the top of the page to download a copy if you having an event with many children. For players under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign on their behalf.

Please remember:

A dry, clean, obstruction-free, flat surface is highly recommended to ensure yours and the safety of your players.  If unsure, please ask, we're happy to discuss.

COVID-19 UPDATES: ASSUMPTION OF RISK

You must follow all county, local, and federal group restrictions and policies, including health and safety policies and posted instructions while in the bubbles and on venue grounds.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and possibly death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. Please do not play if you have been sick or feel sick up to 48 hours before your scheduled event.

By entering the bubble and venue grounds, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
