NASHVILLE BUBBLE BALL POLICIES
How We Roll: Nashville Bubble Ball Game Rules
At Nashville Bubble Ball, your safety is our #1 priority. We want you to go hard, but we also want you to walk away with nothing but great memories. To keep the party going, all players must follow these House Rules:
Gear Up & Dress Down
-
No jewelry, watches, glasses (unless sports-strapped), claw clips or sharp accessories are allowed inside the bubbles. The bubbles are tough, but your jewelry may be tougher.
-
Athletic shoes only. Strictly no cleats, spikes, or heels. We’re protecting the gear and your ankles.
-
We recommend athletic-wear that covers your shoulders and knees. You’re going to be moving, grooving, and occasionally upside down!
The Code of Conduct
-
Hits from the Front: All hits should be seen coming! No blindside hits or targeting from behind.
-
Stay Grounded: If a player is already on the ground, they are out of bounds. Let them get their bounce back before you go for the next hit.
-
Stay in the Zone: No hitting players who are outside the designated game boundary or near the sidelines.
-
No Spearing: Keep your head up! Don’t lead with the top of your bubble; use the belt of the ball to make contact.
Automatic Red Cards
To keep everyone safe, the following are strictly prohibited:
-
Alcohol & Substances: Any player suspected of being under the influence will be benched immediately. Bubbles and booze don't mix!
-
Unsportsmanlike Conduct: We’re here for a good time. Excessive aggression or intentional targeting of players will result in a timeout (or an early trip home).
-
Size Matters: For safety, players must meet the minimum height and weight requirements (typically 4'10" and up) to ensure the harness fits securely.
Staff is the Boss
-
Our NBB Referees are there to keep the game moving and the players safe. Their word is final. If a Ref calls a "Stop Play," everyone must freeze or take a knee immediately.
Site Requirements
To help you avoid any last-minute cancellations please make sure your venue meets the specs below.
-
Surface: We play on clean Grass, Turf, or Indoor Gym Floors.
-
The Clear Zone: The play area must be free of rocks, sticks, trash, or pet waste. If our staff deems a surface dangerous to participants or the bubbles, we can't play. If the site is deemed unsafe for the equipment upon arrival, the $125 late cancellation fee may apply
-
Space: A standard 4v4 game needs at least 35' x 60' of clear space to really get the momentum going.
Nashville Bubble Ball’s Weather & Refund Policy
While we’d love to keep the balls rolling 24/7, Mother Nature sometimes has other plans.
Here is how we handle the hiccups so you can get back to the game!
Outdoor Play & The Elements
We monitor the forecast closely. Our gear has a specific comfort zone to ensure everyone stays safe and the equipment stays bouncy.
-
Temperature Range: We play when it’s between 35°F and 90°F. Anything outside that range is a no-go for the safety of our players and the integrity of the inflatables.
-
Wind: If winds exceed 15 MPH, we have to press pause. Units will be deflated until the gusts calm down.
-
Rain Check: Heavy Rain means no delivery/install. Safety first! Light Rain/Passing Clouds means we’ll set up as planned and keep an eye on the radar.
Rescheduling the Fun
If the weather tackles your event, don't worry!
-
The Replay: We will make every effort to move your booking to a new date.
-
Availability: If your original package isn’t available for the new date, we have options! We can switch your booking to a new package of equal or lesser value and issue a refund** for the difference***. If a different package doesn’t work for your crew, we will issue a full refund**.
-
Half-Time Rule: If you’ve played for more than 50% of your booked time before weather shuts us down, the event is considered official. If we get rained out before the 50% mark, we’ll provide a proportional credit or refund**.
Cancellations: Your Call vs. Our Call
-
NBB Cancellations: If we cancel due to severe weather forecasts, you get a full refund**.
-
Your Call (Weather): If the forecast looks sketchy and you want to pull the plug, just give us 24 hours' notice for a full refund** of any money paid.
-
Point of No Return: Once the units are installed at your location, the event is considered "live" and non-refundable.
General Reschedules & Cancellations
Life happens! If you need to change plans for non-weather reasons:
-
24+ Hours Notice: No cancellation fees! Let’s just find a better time.
-
Under 24 Hours: A $50 fee applies, and the deposit will not be refunded.
-
Last Minute Notice (Under 2 Hours): A $125 late cancellation fee applies, and will be subtracted from your refund** to compensate the referee for any time already spent on your event.
-
Third-Party Vendors: If we’ve coordinated food, drinks, or venues, those specific vendor policies will apply.
**A Note on Refunds: We want to be as fair as possible when plans change. Please note that all refunds, whether full or partial, are issued minus the original credit card processing fees. Why? When you book, our credit card processor takes a small percentage of the transaction to handle the payment safely. Unfortunately, these companies do not return that fee to us when we issue a refund. To keep our rental prices affordable for everyone, we cannot cover these third-party costs.
Typically, these fees are approximately 3% of your total booking.
***Refunds for any package downgrades will be processed within 3-5 business days of the reschedule confirmation.
